Statement: I make art using textiles, sometimes paper. My work is inspired by what I see and hear and read, by experience and by memory. Process is also important to me and I am particularly drawn to hand-stitching, hand-processes generally. I often incorporate text and found or recycled objects and materials. The books I have made have grown out of my textile practice as alternative vehicles for investigating an idea.
